Carbon steel IBC totes are made from painted carbon steel alloy. Available capacities range from 126 gallons to 550 gallons. Principal applications include oils, lubricants, and some solvents. Carbon steel IBCs see use in the food, chemical, petroleum, and pharmaceutical industries. Carbon steel IBC containers are not UN/DOT approved.
Carbon steel IBC totes feature a one-piece stamped “no-heel” bottom design with sump for complete drainage, 22″ diameter top-fill opening with 2″ or 3″ Fusible Vent. Carbon steel IBCs feature a pressure-release venting device, one-piece stamped valve guard, EPDM gasket with plated clamp ring, 2″ top bung opening, and a 2″ stainless steel ball valve available in various configurations.
